Helsinki should become an international city of equity. Inclusion is taking action to reach the goal
Helsinki should strengthen communities by increasing funding for cultural centers, ensuring they are more visible, accessible, and integrated into the city's social vitality
Initiatives that support migrants and communities should be widely spread and expanded with social services, various language programs, and networking opportunities
Over the past 22 years, my journey has encompassed studies in Literature, Intercultural Communication, and Instructional Design, alongside extensive volunteer and service work. I have taught English in Al-Khalil, Palestine and California, USA (to immigrants), and engaged in community service in Malaysia and Finland. I have worked in the learning and development sector in Finland.
My experience includes collaborating with organizations and institutions dedicated to fostering community, creativity, inclusion, diversity, and sustainability. I am deeply passionate about building strong communities, developing educational materials, and advocating for equity, feminism, and environmental sustainability.
